2006 - The BOSS is Back |
| The
legendary BOSS 302 is making a return to
the aftermarket in 2007 with a new line
of BOSS crate engines that are race ready
and affordably priced. Originally debuting
in 1969, the original BOSS 302 powered a
limited production Mustang model. The new
Ford Racing Performance Parts (FRPP) BOSS
302 line will meet a need for engines built
from stronger blocks, providing greater
strength and a street-capable cooling system
design. |

2006 - Legend Mustang |
| Temple
Performance- has released two versions of
their Legend Mustang series: a supercharged
and a naturally aspirated version with 425HP
and 500HP respectively. Both are fully customized
with Shelby wheels body package, interior
dress-up items. Pricing starts at $45,000.
North American Tuning will be adding individual
parts from Temple Performance soon. |

2006 - More Power for the GT-500 in 2008? |
| Now
that the 2007 Shelby GT 500 has arrived,
there are rumblings that a more powerful
version is forthcoming. Various sources
in the past few months have hinted that
Ford is working on a hotter GT 500. Some
spy photography is revealing a possible
2008 beefed-up version fo the most powerful
Mustang ever produced. At a recent press
event Carroll Shelby himself dropped a few
pearls of wisdom about a more powerful version
of the 5.4 liter supercharged Mustang. |
